If so, you may need to familiarise yourself with the EU Deforestation Regulation 2023/1115 (EUDR). We invite you to attend a seminar dedicated to EUDR issues in Latvia. EUDR stipulates that companies dealing in the aforementioned products and their derivatives, and those placing these products on the EU market, must conduct due diligence at all stages of the supply chain. The purpose of due diligence is to ensure that goods are not produced in areas where irreversible forest clearing (deforestation), degradation, or violations of environmental and social regulations have occurred.
