Until 29 June, the express exhibition “Young Wild Animals” is on show on the 3rd floor of the Latvijas Nacionālais dabas muzejs.
To educate people about how to act correctly when encountering a young wild animal, the Latvijas Nacionālais dabas muzejs, in cooperation with Dabas aizsardzības pārvalde, has created the informative express exhibition “Young Wild Animals”.
In spring and summer, when we are out in nature or even in our own garden at home, we may unexpectedly come across the young of a wild animal or bird — most often a roe deer fawn, a leveret, a fox cub, a hedgehog, an owlet or another young bird. On the sea coast, seal pups are increasingly to be seen, and in sunnier, warmer weather they have been spotted basking on the beaches.
