Andrejs Vītoliņš is a fifth-generation horticulturalist. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Nurserymen Association, manager of the "Dimzas" nursery, a father of two sons, and the eldest brother in a family of five children.

The nursery has been operating since the last century. It received its name in 1959 and throughout its existence has become well-known among both specialists and enthusiasts. The nursery's motto is "Prestige cannot be bought!", as they only sell plants grown in Latvia, which are cared for without the use of intensive technologies.
