If we continue to live at the habitual pace of a consumer society, in the relatively near future we will drown in the waste we have produced ourselves. The tendency of a consumer society to consume will not change, but it is possible to change the attitude towards waste and invest intellectual resources and funds in its recycling and reuse, to build a positive attitude towards a sustainable lifestyle – says Jurģis Ugors, Chairman of the Board of the Waste Management Association of Latvia (LASA) and Board Member of SIA “Pilsētvides serviss”, in an interview with the portal nra.lv.
