An obstacle to conquering foreign markets - a qualified workforce

A neighbour asked for a wooden frame greenhouse to be made in 2012, and it is still in service today. Artis Kronītis, a graduate of the Wood Processing Department of the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, believes that wood processing in Latvia has inexhaustible potential and that he was fortunate to find his niche in the local market right away.

"We have observed that our clients change according to the season. As spring approaches, we feel greater interest from private homeowners who want to put up a wooden frame greenhouse in their garden. Conversely, towards the end of summer and into autumn, we receive requests from businesses, for example, plant nurseries, that have accumulated funds during their season and wish to develop their holdings by ordering large-format hangars for this purpose. These have more durable, heavier structures that are suitable for higher loads, but we remain faithful to wood," says A. Kronītis.
