On behalf of the Nature Conservation Agency, experts will soon begin an inventory of the condition of several protected avenues in order to determine what management measures are necessary to promote their preservation and enhance their landscape value.

Over the next two months, tree experts and arborists will examine the Bukaiši avenue, Blankenfelde Manor avenue, Lielplatone Manor lime tree avenue, Bēne avenue, Eleja avenue, part of the Iecava avenue on Upes street, as well as the Raiskums avenue and the Lubāna-Meirāni avenue. During the avenue inventory, all trees in the avenues will be marked and photographed, and a description of each tree's condition and the necessary management measures will be prepared.
