The State Forest Service has declared the start of the forest fire danger season across the entire country, effective from 26 April. With the onset of this period, forest owners and legal possessors must ensure that fire safety requirements are strictly observed in the forest.
During the forest fire danger season, which this year runs from 26 April, all members of the public must adhere to fire safety requirements when in the forest. To reduce the risk of forest fires, certain bans and restrictions must be observed while in the forest; failure to do so may result in administrative, civil or criminal liability.
