The Enterprise Europe Network in Latvia begins a new phase running to 2028

The Enterprise Europe Network in Latvia is beginning an exciting new phase – with an even sharper focus on international cooperation and on supporting companies on their way to global success!

On 30 June 2025, a successful 3.5-year phase of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) in Latvia came to a close. During this time, substantial support was provided to many Latvian companies, especially SMEs, in the areas of international cooperation, innovation and attracting finance.

With renewed vigour, the next 3.5-year period began on 1 July 2025, continuing to strengthen the competitiveness of companies in Europe and to promote cross-border cooperation.

EEN is the largest business support network in the EU, and in Latvia it is run by LIAA in cooperation with the Latvian Technological Centre and LTRK. In the previous period, trade missions were organised, individual consultations were provided, and a partnership database was developed to connect companies with potential cooperation partners in Europe and beyond.

The results of the last phase can be viewed in these infographics.

From 1 July 2025, EEN Latvia is starting a new phase of activity (2025-2028), continuing to provide support to Latvian companies with EU co-financing. The network will offer consultations on international cooperation, market access and technology transfer, as well as training and access to an international partnership database.

The network follows the principle of “no wrong door” – entrepreneurs receive the same support regardless of which contact point they approach. With representation in 60 countries, EEN builds bridges between business, science and policymakers, strengthening Latvia's role in Europe's digital and business transformation.
