The head of the European Union's advisory group on sustainable finance (Nathan Fabian) is urging Brussels to resist political pressure to weaken planned rules, arguing that the regulations as drafted are unreliable and risky.
In a letter to the European Commission, he warns that "scientific evidence and data must not be sacrificed on the altar of political compromise and agreement".
