From 27 to 30 March, the “Māja I 2025” exhibition will take place at the Ķīpsala International Exhibition Centre. Over the four days, the Ministry of Economics, the Riga Energy Agency and the partners of the “Dzīvo siltāk” information campaign will brief visitors on energy efficiency solutions, the options available for renovating apartment buildings, and the regulatory framework governing the construction sector.
During the exhibition, visitors to the Energy Efficiency Quarter will be able to receive individual consultations from experts representing a range of institutions and organisations. Consultations will be provided by representatives of the Ministry of Economics, the Riga Energy Agency, the Ministry of Climate and Energy, the Consumer Rights Protection Centre, the State Construction Control Bureau, the Central Finance and Contracting Agency, the Latvian Environmental Investment Fund, AS “Sadales tīkls”, the Elektrum Energy Efficiency Centre, the development finance institution Altum and AS “Rīgas siltums”.
There will also be a chance to meet representatives of non-governmental organisations from the construction sector, including experts from the Latvian Association of Civil Engineers, the Latvian Association of Building Managers and Administrators, the Latvian Window and Door Manufacturers Association, the Building Materials Manufacturers Association and the Latvian Roofers Association.
Experts from the State Fire and Rescue Service and SIA “Latvijas standarts” will be available on 27 and 28 March, while specialists from the State Revenue Service and the Vidzeme Planning Region will be there on 28 March.
Experts from SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks” and the Riga City Development Department will be present at their own stands within the quarter. SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks” will advise on housing maintenance and building renovation options, while specialists from the City Development Department will advise on a variety of construction-related questions and requirements.
Seminar on the management and renovation of apartment buildings
In addition to the individual consultations, the Latvian Association of Building Managers and Administrators, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economics, is organising a seminar on 28 March this year entitled “Current issues in the management of apartment buildings and building renovation”. It will address key questions about the apartment building renovation process and the sound implementation of European Union fund projects.
