(...) It is planned that the implementation of the project will allow at least 2.7 million passengers to be transported by environmentally friendly public transport in 2023. Convenient rail transport will encourage a reduction in private car traffic, thereby improving road safety and reducing environmental pollution. Rail passenger services will also become more efficient, with travel times reduced, explained the CFLA.

It is intended that the delivery of the new electric trains will take place gradually – the first trains will be delivered in the first half of 2022, and by the end of 2023 passenger transport services will be carried out using all 32 new trains.
