For instance, 57% of people in Russia (Statista Global Consumer Survey Statista) claim to use Instagram regularly. Now this social media site is being blocked, following directives from the Kremlin. The same applies to Facebook (37%) and Twitter, which is less popular but still reaches 14%.
Soon, products such as Samsung and Apple smartphones may no longer be available in Russia. Both these companies have stopped sales of their products in Russia. Citizens of the Russian Federation can no longer use popular technology services, namely PayPal or Netflix.
