To use a concept already deeply rooted in the history of political ideas, it is, of course, radical chic to first sniffle with emotion and applaud medical staff, and then do everything to ensure the workload of these overburdened healthcare workers does not decrease. Finally, as far as I understand, the lives of police officers killed during riots do not count at all. Yet, one can wave a clenched fist, shout, feel "progressive", and then enjoy an "environmentally conscious" meal that the majority of protesters cannot afford at all.
