The Ministry of Agriculture (ZM) and the Latvian Rural Advisory and Education Centre (LLKC) invite farmers, entrepreneurs, and residents of Zemgale to attend the conference “Strong regions, strong country!”

The conference will take place on Friday, 5 April, at the LLU Faculty of Economics and Social Development, Jelgava, Svētes iela 18. It starts at 11:00.

The aim of the conference is to discuss the future development of Latvia's regions after 2020 with farmers, entrepreneurs, and residents during the next EU planning period from 2021 to 2027. Minister for Agriculture Kaspars Gerhards, as well as experts from the ZM, the Rural Support Service, and the LLKC, will take part in the discussions at the “Strong regions, strong country!” conference.

Participation in the conference is free of charge.

The “Strong regions, strong country!” conferences are scheduled to take place this spring in Kurzeme, Zemgale, Latgale, and Vidzeme.
