The conference will be held in Vienna on 11-12 October this year.

The Austrian Woodworking Industry Association, together with the ETTF and EOS, is actively planning this year's International Softwood Conference.

On 11 October, all interested parties are invited to take a tour of Vienna to see the wooden buildings of the Austrian capital; a reception and art exhibition for attendees will take place that same evening.

The most important day of the conference is 12 October, and it will be held at the Hilton Vienna Park hotel. The conference offers the opportunity to take a closer look at timber market trends, focusing on facts and figures regarding the production and consumption of softwood in the most important countries for the sector – not just in Europe. Speakers will present developments and forecasts for the timber market, which is changing in many respects, and will provide an impetus for sharing experiences and discussions.

In the evening, there is an opportunity to network and talk to key players in the international softwood markets.
