For some time, the state machinery has wanted to get rid of employees of larger companies/micro-enterprises and cleaners/authors, who not only discredited the concept of micro-enterprises and authors but, in the government's view, were not contributing enough VSAOI (State Social Insurance Contributions) to the budget. An unwillingness and inability to distinguish between those who are essentially, rather than legally, fake micro-enterprises and authors and those who are genuine micro-enterprises and authors by nature and law led to a mass extermination operation, where the real ones were liquidated along with the fake ones. This separation could have been carried out by amending the relevant laws and using the capabilities of the VID (State Revenue Service). Instead, the flag of social protection was raised, and everyone was demonised as a tax dodger (VSAOI is not a tax) living at the expense of other taxpayers. As a result, the statements made by J. Reirs and I. Jaunzeme triggered societal radicalisation, surges of hatred, and even vandalism against creative individuals and anyone not in salaried employment, which is referred to as "honest work" (I. Jaunzeme).
