Last year, LLU admitted students for the first time to the bachelor's study programmes "Sustainable Agriculture" and "Sustainable Forestry", which are conducted exclusively in English. These integrate the principles of sustainable management and a bioeconomy approach, allowing future specialists to gain a broad and innovative perspective on the agriculture and forestry sectors. The first academic year is drawing to a close, but the admission of new students has already begun.

Faculty members from various LLU departments, as well as the university's cooperation partners and experts from Latvian scientific institutes and foreign universities, participated in the development of the programmes, allowing them to combine strong academic knowledge with international experience.
