...all graduates of the Forest Engineering study programme have sat in a forest tractor and actually worked with it at least a little. We are also planning to develop a power tool laboratory, because although harvesters dominate and will dominate even more in logging, the chainsaw and brushcutter will not be consigned to oblivion. Therefore, it remains my firm requirement that upon graduating from the faculty, an engineer must have a power tool operator's certificate in their pocket and not only be able to operate a chainsaw or brushcutter safely, but also understand the basic principles of how a saw works and how it is constructed.
