To welcome spring and the waking of insects, the Latvian Museum of Natural History has prepared a series of events for the school holiday week called Ant Mornings, which will take place at the "ANT" exhibition.
Until 19 May, the Latvian Museum of Natural History is hosting an interactive educational exhibition "ANT", which offers visitors the chance to explore the vast world of ants in Latvia and beyond through engaging facts and diverse visual aids. Small and large – this is the principle of contrast played out in the exhibition, inviting visitors to reflect on the immense importance of this busy, well-known insect in natural processes.
To explore the topic in greater depth during the spring school break, we will be hosting special Ant Mornings at the "ANT" exhibition for four days, from 12 to 15 March. Inside the anthill, we will listen to stories about the lives of ants, create our own ant exhibition in a workshop, and learn more about the fascinating and responsible hobby of keeping an ant farm at home. Activities will take place from Tuesday to Friday, every day from 11.00 to 14.00.
Everyone is welcome, especially families with children aged 5 to 12.
