On 19 May, the Faculty of Forestry at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU, formerly LLU) organised a seminar entitled Research and Best Practice Examples in Climate and Energy Policy, which was attended by the Minister for Climate and Energy (KEM) Raimonds Čudars and his colleagues. During the visit, the Ministry explored the university's scientific laboratories, climate and energy solutions, urban forest diversity, the role of forests in mitigating climate change, the implementation of the Jelgava Palace energy efficiency project, and other topical industry issues.
