Environmental threats to our security are also a question of money. It is not difficult to notice that even experts who do not allow themselves to make apocalyptic predictions about climate change do not hide another painful issue – how much money does our citizen have? Can they afford air conditioning (equipment, electricity) in an increasingly hot climate? Is it possible for them to adapt their work rhythm to higher temperatures? Society will not be secure if a portion of it is unable to adapt to a hotter world due to a lack of finances. Even in relatively wealthy Europe, heat was the cause of death for more than 60,000 people last year.
