It is fair to say that CMC is one of the least well-known products of forest origin. However, its uses may well surprise you. While CMC is not the primary ingredient in products we are familiar with, it is used quite extensively.
Yoghurt and ketchup. We are more interested in their taste. But do we often think about how consistency affects flavour? Would yoghurt taste as good if it were watery, lumpy or curdled? Would we be able to get ketchup out of the bottle if it were different?
If the answer is "No!", you definitely know what CMC is...
