On 15 April at 12:00, the Saeima Mandate, Ethics and Submissions Committee will meet remotely to examine the progress of the collective submission by Latvian citizens "On the preservation of Latvian forests"!

The collective submission was created (began) in 2011! Given recent similar activities, we invite representatives of the Latvian forest and related sectors to carefully monitor developments in the Saeima and take every opportunity to express their opinion on the planning of such unfounded restrictions for those working in the sector.

It is very strange that at a time when the country needs work and finances (and not only that), a document of an entirely opposite nature and content is being reviewed (even if only formally) in the Saeima.
