The Finnish company UPM has recently reported plans to increase biofuel production and has taken the next step in next-generation biorefinery engineering. The company plans to produce approximately 500,000 tonnes of high-quality renewable fuel per year, including sustainable aviation fuel. These products will undoubtedly reduce the carbon footprint for both road and aviation transport.
