Europe's leader in birch plywood production, AS “Latvijas Finieris”, is inviting applications from 28 January to 14 March for paid work placements across the group's business units.

In total, in the second semester of the new 2024/2025 academic year, the company is offering young people 25 paid placements in 13 engineering and technical professions, in fields such as chemistry and chemical technology, mechanical engineering and metalworking, energy, wood processing, electronics and mechatronics.

Those interested are invited to apply for the placements during the announced period, while the start date will be agreed individually with a company representative.

Placements are available at “Latvijas Finieris” factories in Riga: “Furniers” (Bauskas iela 59), “Hapaks” (Finiera iela 2), “Lignums” (Finiera iela 6), the Equipment Factory (Lignuma iela 2), the Betulin experimental laboratory (“Betulin Lab”) and the Product Research Laboratory (Finiera iela 2).
