Lursoft data shows that 7,129 companies are registered in the ICT sector, with the majority, or 64.13%, involved in computer programming, 28.05% in information services, and the remaining 7.82% working in the telecommunications sector. More than half, i.e., 64.30% of companies operating in the ICT sector, are registered in Riga, a further 18.77% are in the Pierīga region, while the distribution in the remaining regions is similar.
