The council of Latvia's largest business association, the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK), has re-elected Katrīna Zariņa, head of the LTRK Policy Department, as a member of the organisation's board for the next three years.
"The growth of the LTRK in recent years has been rapid, and it is a real pleasure to have had the opportunity to be part of the architects of this growth and to continue it together. In its operational strategy, the LTRK intends to strengthen its participation in decision-making processes at European Union level and to increase the volume of the Latvian business voice in Europe, especially at times when significant decisions are being taken on business environment issues. The successful implementation of this strategic goal will be the main focus of my work for the coming years as I serve on the LTRK board," says K. Zariņa, who has been on the LTRK board since 2016.
