Austrian architects (Delugan Meissl Associated Architects) have expanded the botanical garden building complex in China with three domed timber structures positioned by an artificial lake. Taiyuan Botanical Garden is situated on the site of former coal mines in northern China; the owner wished to transform the old industrial area into a scenic park and museum.
