In the very first year of the nature census, a cave formed in sandstone that had not been registered in previous information sources was discovered in the Kurzeme region. The geological feature was found by Linda Uzule, an expert in freshwater, forest, mire, and grassland habitats for the nature census. At its entrance, the cave is over three metres high and gradually narrows, extending to a depth of six metres. The cave was found in a scenic forest area with numerous slopes.
