The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association has announced some quite interesting and, perhaps, expected statistics regarding the slow decline of diesel cars. For the first time in Europe, the registration volume of new electric cars has surpassed that of diesels.

Between January and October of this year, 1.22 million diesel cars and 1.23 million new electric cars were registered in European Union countries. In October, 14.2% of new cars were electric-powered.
