The Estonian government is to provide emergency aid to farmers amounting to €3.8 million. This is considered the government's "response" to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the sector. Applications for the support will be open from mid-March.

The increase in support, which has been approved by the Estonian government, is expected to total €15.8 million (a 32% increase).
