Stump extraction is not financially cheap, but it provides additional benefits.

It ensures the limitation of the spread of root rot and soil preparation. By preparing the soil mechanically during stump extraction, we can perform agrotechnical maintenance in a young stand at least once less. And, since the same machinery can be used to extract stumps, prepare the soil, and create deep furrows and trenches for surface water drainage, stump extraction also contributes to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
