Nature lovers – cultists

The minister naively imagined that those opposing the amendments "are insufficiently informed". Unfortunately, the problem lies precisely in the fact that these "nature lovers" do not need any information. They "know" everything regardless. If logging regulations are eased, what further information could there be? Everything is clear anyway, as the ideological stance is simple. The less you log, the better. It would be best if forests were not logged at all and humans did not intervene in nature whatsoever. Pictures of overgrown, unmanaged forest are being spread on social media as the ideal to strive for.

There was recently a report in the press about a sect whose members are forbidden from visiting doctors. I somehow did not hear anyone calling representatives of this sect "friends of humanity". Yet, similar cultists, who are convinced that one "must allow the forest to grow in natural conditions, without human intervention", are referred to by the public broadcaster as "nature lovers".
