Over the last year, limited options for usual leisure activities have encouraged more people to head out into nature. As more and more people choose the forest as a place for walking and recreation, the amount of litter left behind is simultaneously increasing. LVM has been collecting litter since the company's founding in 2000, and overall, it can be concluded that the amount of waste left in the forest is growing every year. Last year, a total of 2,543 cubic metres of litter was collected in LVM forests, and since 2018, the volume of collected waste has increased by 30%.
