Finland is already preparing for potential disruptions to natural gas supplies. Russia's announcement regarding the recognition of the independence of Ukrainian territories has prompted EU leaders to consider new sanctions.
It should be noted that switching energy sources for power plants and heating plants in Finland should not pose excessive problems, although they are partially dependent on Russian natural gas. The situation is more problematic for certain industrial sectors, for which the changes could cause more serious difficulties.
