November is the perfect month to invite you to choose your Tree of the Year and its story.
Voting will continue until 3 December. You can vote once for one tree.
Important – when voting, be sure to provide a precise email address to which a link will be sent to confirm your vote! Only by confirming will your vote be successful and counted!
We organise the 'European Tree of the Year in Latvia' competition to identify and discover trees with fascinating stories, impressive dimensions, and a significant place in the preservation of cultural-historical heritage and natural values.
During the National Forest Inventory in Latvia, 6,675,600,290 trees were counted. We can be proud of that!
This year, 9 trees have been nominated for the vote, and the result will be determined by public voting. The winner will 'participate' in the European competition scheduled for February 2024, about which we will inform you separately.
We would like to remind voters: in this competition, both the tree and the story are equally important.
