Eight canonical Latvian landscapes have also been included in the Latvian Cultural Canon – the Daugava landscape, the Zemgale Plain landscape, the Gauja Ancient Valley landscape, the Latgale Lakeland landscape, the Latvian forest landscape, the seaside landscape, the Vidzeme hilly landscape and the Abava Ancient Valley landscape.
