Latvian food manufacturer AS "Dobeles dzirnavnieks" signed an agreement this spring to acquire 100% of the capital shares of the owner of AS "Rīgas dzirnavnieks" – the Lithuanian grain processing company AB "Baltic Mill". The deal still requires approval from competition regulators, "Dobeles dzirnavnieks" informed.
"We have currently submitted notifications regarding the merger of market participants to the Competition Councils of all three Baltic states, and we look forward to beginning work on developing new products," stated Kristaps Amsils, Chairman of the Board of AS "Dobeles dzirnavnieks".
