Our university is celebrating its 102nd birthday.
On this day, I would like to express my deepest respect and gratitude for your tireless work and determination, which have contributed to the rise and development of our university.
Dear colleagues, your work is the foundation of our university's success. You contribute your time, skills and knowledge to make our university what it is today. You have created an environment where excellence is valued and creative thinking is recognised.
We are proud of our thousands of graduates who work in Latvia and abroad, many of whom hold leadership positions in education, science, the cultural sector and other fields.
Students, you are the heart and soul of our university. Your enthusiasm, creativity and thirst for learning are what make our university not only a place of work and study, but also a significant chapter in one's life and biography – a place where we learn together, conduct research, shape the future, grow and develop.
I wish everyone happiness, health and prosperity, and for DU – new achievements, growth and success!
