Our latest climate studies cover the period since 1961. The results, presented in maps and graphs, can be found on our website in the Climate Change Analysis Tool. The findings show that, on average, the number of days with snow cover is decreasing, but the maximum annual snow depth does not show such a pronounced downward trend. This indicates that although there is less snow on average, there may still be periods of quite heavy snowfall in certain years.
