The skyscraper, which "promises to be" the tallest timber building in Europe, will be built as a "combination of social and ecological goals", with the building also seen as a test for a new model of predictable and affordable urban housing.

The high-rise planned for the Kreuzberg district of Berlin is described as atypical for several reasons. The 98-metre-tall tower will be built primarily of wood, using cross-laminated timber structures. Concrete, as planned in the project, will be used only for the foundations and basements.
