The reasoning – we have plenty of land, and a poorly developed economy. In a nutshell, Latvia would be one big landfill Eldorado! And not only would it be – it certainly will be, because "this is a new type of economy, it is much smarter, it should raise the standard of living in Latvia. You just have to approach it in a very focused and very serious way. And this is a point of no return. It is something that cannot be avoided. Those who miss out will be left behind, those who win may be able to jump onto some version of this. And it could be Latvia's Nokia, unequivocally, this is where our opportunity opens up".

There are several aspects here I would like to discuss. Firstly, before importing any foreign waste, we should finally create a system that encourages the collection and recycling of waste generated locally. Every spring, we are faced with the fact that, as it turns out, our forests are polluted with car tyres, old slate, furniture, construction debris, etc. Why?
