The role of the creative intelligentsia in the development of our land and state is beyond doubt; it is timeless and will always be emotionally engaging for every normal person in Latvia. Therefore, there is no reason to consider the article "Creative intelligentsia: Latvia's forests are not a beetroot field" published on the DELFI portal on 15 January this year as unimportant, dismissible or inappropriate.

The Latvian forest sector should carefully study why respectable people were willing to sign such a composition. However, I was personally very pleased to see the gentlemen among the first three signatories enter the ranks of the creative intelligentsia, which at least for a moment allowed them to feel that way and enrich their personal biography (CV) with it.
