“Garupe Beach Cottages” is a new private housing development by the seaside, about a 30-minute drive from the centre of Riga, in the direction of Carnikava. The homes in the village combine aesthetics with ecology, and a dynamic pace of life with the peace of nature. The log cabins are built from Finnish pine (“Honka”).
The project developers emphasise the excellent technical specification of the houses, which are furnished with pieces crafted by local joiners. The homes also feature a fireplace and a sauna, suited to the Latvian climate. The floor plans are well-considered and functional, and great attention has been paid to the quality of the materials used – these are wooden houses free from synthetic, artificial materials. The technical equipment includes high-end appliances, such as the “Panasonic Aquarea” air source heat pump for the heating system, the “Komfovent Domekt” heat recovery system for ventilation, and a water pump from “Grundfos” for the well. A pine forest and the beach are nearby.
