The first hydrogen-powered passenger train (Alstom’s Coradia iLint) has been trialled in Östersund (Sweden), in the hope of reducing CO2 emissions and helping to make rail transport more environmentally friendly.

Coradia iLint was demonstrated to interested parties in Sweden, such as regional passenger transport operators, transport system companies and institutions, government decision-makers, and the media.
