The author of the study is Linards Kļaviņš, a doctoral student in environmental science at the University of Latvia and a scholar of SIA “Mikrotīkls”.

“These berries have a special value as rare, unique plants whose preservation requires a clean environment, care, and the protection of natural assets. Furthermore, cloudberries are a significant element of biological and genetic diversity, and also possess high nutritional value,” emphasised Kļaviņš.
