Researcher warns: dogs are not environmentally friendly

It turns out that dogs have a negative impact on the environment because they eat too much meat. This is what researchers have told the publication L'Express.

According to research by University of California professor Gregory Okin, published in 2017, the impact of around 160 million dogs and cats on the US environment accounts for approximately 25-30%. How so? Because dogs and cats consume meat.

This damage is comparable to 64 million tonnes of carbon being released into the atmosphere or the use of 13 million cars in one year.
