Of course, for some hunters, hunting is merely a hobby, but the majority are loyal and professional people who adhere to regulations and possess a love for nature and the processes that take place within it. Hunting is a strictly controlled activity based on scientifically sound decisions, related to the management of animal numbers, which is necessary for society as a whole. By all appearances, a large proportion of people who are in no way connected to hunting have very little understanding of it. They do not comprehend the self-regulation mechanisms of wild species, diseases, and infections, where in dense populations, part of a given species' population would simply die out if it were not for the hunter who controls and regulates these processes through the setting of correct limits and hunting. What is the situation with animals involved in road traffic accidents? What would happen on the roads if we, the hunters, did not regulate their numbers?
