The report (authors: International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT), ODI and Transport and Environment (T&E)) states that in 2019, the highest GHG emissions were generated in Dubai, London (Heathrow), Los Angeles (Los Angeles International), New York (JFK), Paris (Charles de Gaulle), Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Frankfurt and Seoul. Significantly, the top twenty also includes both of Belgium's largest airports - Zaventem and Charleroi.
